STAGEs is an exhibition of photography by celebrated photographer Calligrafist.

STAGEs showcases Calligrafist‘s; STAGE photography, STAGEs as a creative and STAGEs in his ever evolving life perspective.

This photo exhibition is the first of a series of events that Calligrafist will STAGE over the next two years. Part I is a taste of the public unfolding of Calligrafist‘s artistry that will include Part II (solo gallery exhibition) & a limited edition coffee table book.

STAGEs Photography Exhibition: Part l will showcase Calligrafist’s carefully curated, NEVER BEFORE SEEN pictures from his 10 year journey as a photographer. A sample of his most popular works will also be included.

 Celebrity Photographer “Calligrafist” STAGEs Photo Exhibit of Pictures Kept Secret from Celebrities

Famed photographer allows public access to rare never seen photos of celebrities on stages for one day in New York City

New York, NY – On Saturday, September 29, 2018 millennial photographer Ismail “Calligrafist” Sayeed hosted a one-day solo photo exhibition of unseen photos of celebrities titled STAGEs at the Renaissance Midtown Hotel and Thursday September 26th, 2019 he celebrates the 1 Year anniversary of the first STAGEs with “The Anniversary”.

Calligrafist is known for his cross genre/generational, thought provoking photos of celebrities including; Beyoncé, Diddy, Jay-Z, Rakim, Cardi B, J. Cole, Nicki Minaj, Charlamagne, SZA, Yasiin Bey (Mos Def), Q-Tip, Swizz Beatz, Black Thought, Chance The Rapper, Russ, Dapper Dan, Jennifer Hudson and members of the Wu-Tang Clan.

“I want to give the public an opportunity to share my experience as a photographer of celebrities; exclusive access to hyperbolic humanity” said Ismail “Calligrafist” Sayeed, CEO and Photographer, at Calligrafist Photography. “I also want viewers to travel with me through my stages of development as a photographer which was happening while my subjects were developing as public figures.”

STAGEs will feature never seen photos of celebrities on stage taken by Calligrafist over the course of 10 years. Which celebrities will be featured in STAGEs will be kept secret from celebrities, public and press until opening day. STAGEs photo exhibition is part I of a series of events Calligrafist will hold over the next two years showcasing his work, culminating in a coffee table book.
